Little Rock, Arkansas-based Full Figure Plus was born in 2004 out of the need to assist my wife in her search for affordable trendy lingerie. The core reader of this blog are plus size women and some men that are on the hunt for affordable, trendy, quality items but do not know were to begin looking in the vast sea known as the Internet. Over the years FFP has evolved in many ways. Initially, it just looking to address the needs of those looking for plus size clothing. The next phase incorporated plus size lingerie, then size acceptance, and finally plus size modeling. In other words, FFP tends to whatever needs to be addressed in the curvy community.
A quick glimpse of (his) story:
"For years my bride to be was having a problem finding a bra and panty set. Being at the time a size 44HH it was impossible to find any bra through normal channels. We would spend at times sixty dollars or more on a single bra and she would still not have panties to match. Being the nosey guy that I am I struck out to search the Internet to find affordable lingerie for the one that I love. After a few months of cataloging links from every category imaginable including lingerie I would occasionally share the links with others. I then read a business article about blogging and made the decision to combine the shopping links and my own unique voice with this new platform, and thus in the Fall of 2004 Full Figure Plus, a blog dedicated to plus size fashion and more, was born.
